Large Country Garden

 

The owners had a small garden on an estate and on purchasing the adjoining field needed to integrate the two. They wanted to achieve a sense of a journey around the garden, whilst emphasizing the views, sheltering from the wind and keeping maintenance reasonably low.

The design was created to give a flow achieved by finely mown and longer grass and planting was chosen to blend with the countryside, but where possible to use more interesting forms of native plants.
