Formal fountain garden for period house
A formal parterre was requested for the front of the large asymmetrical house with a slope downhill away from the building and a large yew to one side.
As the main door was not in the middle of the property a path was taken from it to go across from one side of the drive to the other and the fountain garden was then built to the side of the path on a leveled area to balance the mass of the yew. The plan is shown below, as are before and after photos.

Borders edged with Box and filled with Lavender, Tulips and white Geraniums for long seasonal interest
